Bi-Coastal Bliss: Building Your Own Dice Tower!

Hey there, fellow crafters and tabletop enthusiasts! Today, we’re bringing you a project that perfectly blends the joy of DIY with the thrill of rolling dice: the Bi-Coastal Dice Tower!

This isn’t your average cardboard contraption. This tower is designed to be completely customizable, reflecting your unique gaming style (and maybe even your bi pride!). So, whether you hail from the East Coast or the West Coast, or anywhere in between, this tower can represent you.

What You’ll Need:

  • Cardboard (two different colors for the bi theme!)
  • Craft knife or sturdy scissors
  • Ruler
  • Hot glue gun (adult supervision recommended for younger crafters)
  • Optional: paint, markers, decorative elements (ribbons, washi tape, etc.)

Let’s Get Building!

  1. Design Your Tower: This is where the fun begins! Sketch out your tower’s shape on paper. A classic tower is a simple rectangle with a ramp on the inside, but feel free to get creative! You can add towers, spikes, or even little windows.

  2. Cut Out the Pieces: Once you have your design, transfer it onto your cardboard pieces. Remember to account for separate pieces for the sides, ramp, and base.

  3. Assemble the Tower: Here comes the hot glue! Carefully glue the sides together, following your design. Don’t forget to create the ramp inside!

  4. Time to Personalize! Now’s the time to make this tower truly bi-coastal. Paint the outside in your chosen colors, or get creative with markers and washi tape. You can even add details like tiny palm trees for the West Coast and lighthouses for the East Coast.

  5. The Grand Finale: Let your masterpiece dry completely, and then get ready to roll!

Bonus Tip: Feeling extra fancy? Line the inside of the ramp with felt to dampen the sound of those tumbling dice.

Happy crafting, and happy rolling!
